Samantha Mohr
Mohr was a UGA student. She entered her first pageant following being advised by a fellow student. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. Mohr was then eligible to participate in Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia pageant, which took place June 1985. Mohr claimed the crown on the 22nd of June on the 22nd of June in 1985. More than $3,500 was awarded to Mohr in scholarship money and other prizes. Her title was Miss Georgia and made public appearances all over Georgia as part of her tasks. Mohr represented Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September of 1985. Mohr was able to determine that Susan Akin would win Miss America by computer modeling. His chances of winning were 22:1. Mohr wasn't a top 10 finalist for the national crown. Mohr was Miss Georgia for a total of ten years. This was until Marlesa Bal, her successor to the title, was crowned Miss Georgia 1986, on June 28th June, 1986.
